Servant Leaders Institute is thrilled to continue supporting and developing youth leaders. This year we are working with a phenomenal group of young ladies at Lanier Jr. Sr. High School. The structure of the initiative centers on social-emotional learning, effective leadership, and building community.
This is a significant event for the following reasons:
Servant Leaders Institute, founded in 2019 by Miriam Gray, was inspired by her experience as a teacher at Lanier High School
SLI has always been an advocate for and supporter of community schools and
this is the first cohort that consists of all students from Lanier Jr. Sr. High School
This and other initiatives would not be possible without the school's administrative leadership and Rosaline McCoy, who serves as the Community Schools Coordinator.
These are the people who go above and beyond to ensure students are
well-nurtured as they learn and grow.
SLI would love your support to continuously enrich and sustain this labor of love. We encourage you to stay involved and remain inspired by the hopes and dreams of the youth.
